Disentitling threatens the Japanese company Sanyo Electric on the Tokyo exchange after confession, that a company understated the losses during seven years through ununderstanding of book-keeping rules and weak management. About it a newspaper Times reported on December, 26.

Sanyo acknowledged that understated the losses from 2000 year. A company declared, that already brought in in book-keeping records additional losses in a size 6 milliards of yen (52,6 million dollars) for the last seven years. Sanyo showed before, that its losses for this period made 372,6 milliards of yen (32,7 million dollars).
A company declared also, that paid too high dividends in 2002-2004 years. For five half-years from September 2002 for September, 2004 Sanyo paid dividends in a size 28 milliards of yen (245,5 million dollars). But the overvalue of profits for six years, to March, 2006, rotined that financial position of company did not have justified such payments. |
